Natural Disasters affect animals too, you may live in an area that has become overpopulated by Coyotes recently due to local govt. bringing them in for other wildlife control. This site is very informative on ways to prevent Coyotes from coming near your property. This site is to HELP not guarantee that it will keep Coyotes away. Remember, if it's a disaster area then it will still attract predators bc of garbage, loose animals, rotting food, etc.. regardless of what you do to prevent them.
St. Croix sheep are excellent foragers and very easy keepers. Though heat tolerant, the sheep can be raised in many parts of North America. In colder areas, they grow a heavy winter coat of wool and hair that is shed in the spring. This combination of characteristics makes the breed an excellent choice for low input meat production. The St. Croix is increasing in numbers, and though it is still rare, the breed’s future seems promising.
